ABOUT THE BLOG

Proper nutrition can be confusing if you don't have much knowledge on the topic. That's why I've decided to inform you about sports nutrition, as well as long-term health. I am by no means a nutrition expert, but I do have a fair amount of background through courses I've taken and personal experience. I'm Tiara Schmidt, a fifth year senior at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Health Sciences and Nutrition. Not only am I a student, but also an athlete, which is why sports nutrition is important to me. My goal is to relay the information I've learned throughout my years at UNK in a simple, quick manner that will help you become a healthier version of yourself and improve your performance.
